Race Report – 2018 SSE Airtricity Marathon

Le Cheile AC were represented in great numbers in the recent 2018 SSE Airtricity Half Marathon held in the phoenix park with 28 of our Athletes both senior and Fit For Life participating.  Particular mention Marc Augustin who was 15th in his age category and Jan Corcoran third in her age category. This is another outstanding performance for Jan who recently made it onto the podium in the SSE Airtricity Frank Duffy 10 Mile Road Race. Great runs for Lisa Hughes also coming 3rd in her age category and Suzanne Brennan 4th.  While many of the senior runners were using this race as a step towards Dublin City Marathon many of the Fit For Life runners were completing there first half marathon with each of them putting in great performances. Well done to everybody who ran.
