There are a number of groups for adults within Le Chéile catering for all interests and levels of ability.

Fit4Life:  The Fit4Life Programme is designed to give people the opportunity to get fit and enjoy running in a structured environment. Participants set their own goals and are assisted by the trained Fit4Life leaders. The emphasis is on improving fitness in a fun, sociable environment and no previous experience is required. All ability levels are catered for and participants exercise with others of a similar fitness level.   The group meet on Wednesday at 8 p.m. and there is an informal meet-and-run group on a Monday night at 7:30

Track & Field: The Senior Track and field group meet on Monday at 7 p.m. & Thursday at 8 p.m. This group focusses on event specific training for all track and field events with groups for sprinting, middle distance running, jumps, throws and hurdles. All are welcome to join this group. If you are interested in trying out one or more of these events, please contact one of the Senior coaches (David McCarthy, Richard McCarthy, Des Walsh & Lisa Dixon)

Hill Running: There is a vibrant Hill running group within the club who run in the Wicklow mountains most weekends and also take part in IMRA races. Most runs are organised via the Facebook group Le Cheile AC – Hill Running. This group is open for all members to join.

Marathon Running: There are a large number of athletes in the club interested in long-distance running and there are usually a number of them in training for marathons & ultra-marathons all year around. The most popular races are normally Dublin, Kildare, Connemara and Dingle, although Le Chéile athletes have competed in races all over the country. If you are interested in marathons, let one of the coaches know and they will put you in contact with someone with similar goals and race targets.
