All Ireland Championships 2020

Unfortunately, because of the current lockdown due to Covid-19, athletes living in County Kildare were excluded from taking part in the All Ireland Championships (Senior & u23) that took part over the weekend in Santry. We hope our affected members get over the disappointment soon.

Some Le Chéile athletes have been living outside Kildare in recent times so were able to compete.  A huge Huge congratulations to Ciarán Connolly who took bronze in the Senior High Jump & gold in the u23 category. A great clearance of 2m and unlucky not to clear 2.05m.

Keeley Hogan ran a seasons best 400m in 52.56 and Roís Ni Domhnaill had a good 5.20m in the long jump.
