Leixlip 5k 8th May 2019

A massive congratulations to everyone who took part in the Leixlip 5k 2019. Some great performances. Peter Somba, Dunboyne AC, won the men’s in 15:01. Laura McDonnell, Tallaght AC, won the ladies in 18:15. All the Leixlip 5k 2019 results can be found here. Thank you to everyone from far and near who came along to support the race.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the race happen, Lisa Dixon for all the organising, Richard McCarthy for getting the track and racers ready, all the stewards who made the event possible, all who helped with registration, all who helped with teas/coffees, all who brought food along, those who helped with the preparation before and the clean up afterwards, those who created and distributed the fliers and posters, those who helped with the online advertising of the event, the pacers in the race and Castletown parkrun for the loan of the bibs. Thank you to Ronan Ardiff for kindly donating all the bottles of water. Thank you to Lidl Leixlp. Thank you to the Garadí for the escort car. Thank you to popupraces for the timing and online system.
